简单计划（Simple Plan），是一支于1999年在加拿大魁北克地区成立的流行庞克乐团。这个乐团已发行三张专辑：No Pads，No Helmets¹...Just Balls（2002），Still Not Getting Any...（2004）和同名专辑Simple Plan（2008/2），两张现场演奏专辑：Live In Japan & MTV Hard Rock Live（2005）。五名团员都是加拿大的法国后裔。(from wikipedia)

众所周知，美国的近邻加拿大也是一个盛产优秀歌手和乐队的国度，且不说曾经红极一时的老牌唱将Bryan Adams、K.D. Lang和Celine Dion，光是近两年的代表人物就有红得发紫的小天后Avril Lavigne，以及火爆强劲的朋克团体Sum41。而最近迅速蹿红且蜚声国际乐坛的Simple Plan，则是又一支来自加拿大且颇具实力的流行朋克团体。

　　尽管Simple Plan是一支刚出道不久的乐队，但早在1994年，主唱Pierre Bouvier以及鼓手Chuck Comeau就与另外两人在蒙特利尔组成了乐队的前身Reset，而当时乐队的四位成员平均年龄竟然只有13岁。乐队在1997年以限量2000个盒带的方式，自资灌录并发表了首张demo，不久就引起了当地一些独立厂牌的关注。1998年，乐队签约在加拿大小厂牌2112旗下并发表了两张比较成功的专辑，而且曾与MxPx等大牌乐队一同巡演，这也使得Reset在加拿大朋克圈内也算是小有名气了。而就在第二张专辑录制完成后，鼓手Chuck由于学业问题而选择了离开Reset，然而他暂别音乐圈的决定也只是一个极短的过程。
