Brazil wins Super Four basketball title

RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug. 8 (Xinhua) -- Brazil beat Angola 89-59 on Sunday to win the title of the Super Four, a four-team friendly tournament in preparation for the 2010 World Basketball Championships.

Leandro Barbosa, Brazil's newest member of the NBA team Toronto（多伦多） Raptures¹, led the team with 15 points. He was followed by Marcelinho Machado with 13 points, Marquinhos with 11 points and reserve forward Hatila with 8 points.

Brazil's star forward and member of the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers, Anderson Varejao, had an important role in Sunday's win. With a hot start in the first quarter, the forward ended with 11 points and demonstrated² （证明）that his lower back problems are no longer bothering him.
