英国直升机在阿富汗南部坠毁

 　　LONDON, April 26 (Xinhua) -- A British helicopter crashed Saturday in southern Afghanistan, the British Ministry¹ of Defense² (MoD) said Saturday.

　　"The incident is under investigation³ and it would be inappropriate to comment further until families have been notified," the MoD said in a statement.

　　The MoD said that concerned family members can contact the ministry's Joint⁴ Casualty and Compassionate⁵ Centre on 0845 7 800 900.

　　Five service personnel have been killed in the crash, local media reported, citing MoD sources.

　　The MoD did not provide details of the nationalities of those killed.
