Weather conditions are easing in Victoria after yesterday's violent storms, Melbourne's west was hardest hit by the front, with flash flooding damaging buildings and bringing down trees.

And in Adelaide, police have charged a 30-year-old man over a fatal car bombing in the city's north. Two people were killed when the car exploded in a suburban⁹ street yesterday. Police say one of the victims was a known criminal.
