Old age pensioners1 across Greece have flooded into Athens in protest over pension cuts. The protesters say they've been reduced to poverty by the cuts which were up to 15%. They've also been hit by new taxes on their homes and pharmaceuticals2. Athens has slashed3 public sector4 pay in pensions and raise taxes in exchange for bailout funds from Europe.
