 A low pressure system moving across parts of east New South Wales is generating¹ rain and thunderstorms. A trough clipping² southeast in areas of the nation is bringing showers to Victoria and south Australia. While a low is bringing rain, strong winds and storms to western Australia.

 

 

Looking around the countries.

 

 

Storms and showers are expected in Queensland's southeast.Hot and dry in the state's west and north.

Warm to mild conditions for most of New South Wales with cooler temperatures in the south. Showers and possible storms in the east.

 

 

In Victoria,there'll be showers, light winds and Alpine³ snow with a chance of thunderstorms in the east.

 

 

Possible showers in north and west Tasmania are expected later in the day with mostly sunny and cool conditions elsewhere.

 

 

South Australia can expect strong winds in the west with clearing showers in the southeast later in the day.

 

 

Over the west Australia where there'll be strong southerly winds in the southwest with showers. Hot and sunny in the north.

 

 

In the Top End, we'll have some very hot and humid conditions with gusty⁴ winds in the south.

 

 

And looking ahead to tomorrow's forecast forthe capital cities. Possible thunderstorms in Brisbane,clearing thunderstorms in Sydney, light showers in Brisbane,mostly sunny in Hobart, clearing showers in Adelaide, windy with showers in Perth and mostly sunny in Darwin.
