 The Nine Entertainment Company will launch its two-billion-dollar float on the stock exchange at mid-day. The re-capitalisation will put the company in a much stronger position after facing bankraptcy just a year ago. 

 

Shares are in highly-anticipated offering while being priced two dollars and five cents. That's the lower end of the range. 

 

“The fund managers did push down on the range that push down to the 2.05, frankly¹, because they want to see some upside. This is a fare that pretty fully² priced listing and there will be people who'll be looking to take some profits if we see a little bit of the rally. That's part of the game here and that's why I think they've pushed the price down to that bottom of the range.”

And Wall Street lost some ground overnight. In London, the FTSE also fell.

West Texas Crude is trading at the moment at 97 US dollars a barrel. Tapis Crude is at 118 US dollars a barrel. And gold is worth 1226 US dollars an ounce. 

 

The Australian dollar is buying 91 US cents, 66 Euro cents and 55 pence sterling⁴.
