A judge in Turkey has rejected Australia's request to extradite notorious Islamic State member Neil Prakash. He was captured crossing from Syria in 2016 after becoming an infamous¹ IS member accused of direct links to terrorist plots in Australia. The ruling could see Prakash released from jail unless Turkey decides to prosecute² him.

The White House says discussions are underway to invite Russia's president, Vladimir Putin, to Washington later this year. Press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, says the talks could take place as early as September. US president Donald Trump³ says he's looking forward to his second meeting with Mr Putin after their summit held this week in Helsinki.

Buzzfeed news is reporting the MP has been accused by former staff of verbal abuse, harassment⁸ and using them to run personal errands.
