Mars¹ Candy Delights! 美味甜点火星糖！

In Kaohsiung, you can find the tastiest candy. 在高雄，你可以找到最美味的糖果。

Where? At the Mars Candy Shop. 在哪里？在火星糖商店。

Ms. Chou is the owner of the shop. 周女士是这家店的老板，

She calls herself Mars Mommy. 她自称为火星妈咪。

She started making Mars Candy about ten years ago. 她大约在十年前开始制作火星糖。

Her family loved to eat candy, but Mars Mommy couldn't find any healthy candy for them. 她的家人很喜欢吃糖果，可是火星妈咪找不到健康的糖果给他们吃，

So she decided² to make her own. 于是决定自行制作糖果。

She started sharing this candy with her relatives and friends. 后来她开始和亲戚朋友分享这种糖果，

Everyone loved it, so in 2009, she opened a candy shop. 结果大家都很喜欢。于是，她在二００九年开了一家糖果店。

Why does Mars Mommy call her candy "Mars Candy?" 火星妈咪为什么把她的糖果称为「火星糖」呢？

Because when her children first ate it, they said that it was the best candy in the world. 因为她的孩子第一次吃到这种糖果的时候，都说这是全世界最好吃的糖果，

Even people from Mars would want to stay on Earth to eat it! 就算是火星人也会想要待在地球上吃这种糖果！

Mars Mommy uses two kinds of nuts in her candy: 火星妈咪在她的糖果当中使用两种坚果：

Macadamia nuts and almonds. 夏威夷豆与杏仁。

She heats fresh milk and sugar to the right temperature. 她先把鲜奶和糖（海藻糖和麦芽糖）加热

Then she adds the nuts. 到适当温度， 接着加入坚果。

After that, the candy is put onto paper in a pan to cool. 然后，再把糖果铺放在一个垫着纸张的烤盘里冷却。

Mars Candy is also known for its delicious ice cream. 火星糖也以美味的冰淇淋著称。

When Mars Mommy makes berry ice cream, she mixes fresh berries and sugar together. 火星妈咪制作莓果冰淇淋的时候，会把新鲜莓果和糖混合在一起。

Then she heats the berry mixture in one pan and some milk in another. 接着，她把这些莓果酱料倒入一个锅子里，并在另一个锅子里倒入牛奶，分别加热。

When the milk and berry mixture have reached the right temperature, she mixes the two together. 等到牛奶和莓果混合物都达到适当温度之后，她就把这两者混合起来，

Then she lets it cool. 然后放着冷却。

Then she pours the mixture into the ice cream maker³. 冷却之后，再把混合物倒进冰淇淋机。

Twenty minutes later, she has delicious berry ice cream. Mmm .... 二十分钟后，美味的莓果冰淇淋就完成了。真美味…
