I could do it, it's just there's too much to do, and I couldn't keep up with the
workload¹. 我可以做好的，因为工作太多，我只是跟不上工作量。
I can't keep up with your speed, could you slow down? 我跟不上你的速度，你能放慢速度吗？
Let's keep up with the development. 让我们跟得上发展的进步。

 下面，介绍另一个口语化的词：This isn't happening!　意思是发生了某些你不愿其发生的事，于是你说"怎么会这样"，"这种事不该发生"：
My new dress is spoiled by the orange juice, this isn't happening! 我的新裙子被果汁搞脏了，怎么会发生这种事呢？
