-Yes,I am.Thank you for coming.The police have arrested the drunk driver who hit my nephew's car.

-I'm awfully² sorry for your loss.but where is the car?

-It is beyond repair now.We managed to move it off the road so that it might not hold up the traffic.

-How did you learn the terrible news?

-The police called me.You know,Jiangwei's parents have gone on vacation.

-The car was hit right head-on.Eigher of the drivers must have been on the wrong side of the road.

-The witness said it was that road murderer.The driver's blood alcohol was three times the legal limit.

-Greg was in his car with some friends after school.The car was hit by a truck whose driver was drunk and at a high rate of speed.You see that damaged tree?

-Yes.

-He lost control of the truck going around a curve,and hit Greg's car and then that tree.
