 　　I meet young comedians¹ all the time, they just say我总碰到有年轻喜剧演员跟我说

　　I just want to do colleges, I just play small clubs, I just play jazz menus我只想对大学生表演 我只想在小俱乐部表演等等You should always try to find the topless audience you can你总应当竭尽所能找最顶级的观众

　　It's how you get better and what you do

　　You know when I was starting out the comedy down in Los Angeles我最开始在洛杉矶表演喜剧的时候

　　I personally asked for the toughest slot of the night请求在最难的地方进行表演

　　I wanted to follow Richard Pryor every night我每晚都要紧随理查德·普赖尔

　　because I knew that Richard blow the audience out, so they would be exhausted²因为我知道理查德讲完后 观众已经有些疲了
