 "I pull back the covers." “我拉开被子。”

The covers, "covers," are the blanket, the comforter, and the top sheets. 被子（covers）可以是毯子、羽绒被和上层床单。

We take those things and we have to pull them back. 我们拿着这些物品，然后把它们拉开。

To pull back means to take them and move them towards the bottom of the bed so that you can get in, and after you get in, you're going to pull the covers up. “To pull back”的意思是拿起它们并把它们拉到床脚，这样你就可以上床了，在你上床之后，你会把被子拉上来。

So, you pull back the covers to get into the bed, and then you pull them up to cover you again so you can stay warm. 因此，你拉开被子躺到床上，然后你再把它们拉上来盖住自己，这样你就可以保暖。
