【分析】此句式用于描述图画内容后揭示图画的寓意，下文将会就此展开讨论。同时，本句型还可用于图表作文中总结图表所表明的问题或现象。句中what作主语，that引导的表语从句解释图画寓意。illustrate²意为 “说明”，可以用reveal, display等替换。
