Lesson 75 Sue’s diary¹: What do you want for breakfast?
This morning
mother got³ up early
and went into the kitchen.
The kitchen was⁴ very untidy⁵
and the light was still on!
“I can’t understand it!” mother said⁶.
Then father, Sandy and I
went downstairs⁷ as² wall.
“What do you want
for breakfast?’ mother asked.
“We don’t want any breakfast,”
father answered.
“We ate⁸ some sandwiches
and drank some milk
at three o’clock in the morning.’
“I can see that,” mother said.
“The refrigerator’s empty!’
