Jury selection begins Monday in the trial of Boston marathon bombing suspect Dzhokar Tsarnaev. He’s charged with planning and carrying out the bomb attack that killed three people and injured more than 260 in 2013.

Search crews in Indonesia brought more bodies from Air-Asia flight 8501 to land on Monday. Improved weather at sea is allowing search crews to look for large objects, believed to be the plane’s fuselage.

The founder¹ of a 200-milllion dollar hedge fund was found shot to death in his New York City apartment. New York police are searching for Thomas Gilbert’s killer².

And pre-show events areunderway, ahead of the CES consumer electronics show in Las Vegas. The massive convention features all of the latest high-tech³ gadgets⁴. More than 160,000 people attended last year.
