Donald Trump¹ is urging supporters in Florida to "pretend we are slightly losing" as a way to get them to vote. At a rally in Miami, he urged voters not to become complacent². Most polls showed a close race in Florida between Trump and Hillary Clinton.

Scott Michael Greene turned himself in to authorities Wednesday morning. He's accused of killing³ 2 Des Moines area police officers. Officials say he has a history of confratations with police.

As Iraqi forces closed in on the militant-held city of Mosul, civilians⁴ are fleeing. Many are leaving the areas in and around Mosul, trying to escape Islamic State rule. Some fled on trucks and others held white flags.

The Prague Zoo has 2 new additions. The first baby elepants bred in the zoo in 80 years are now on show. Visitors are being asked to help choose a name for them. They can choose from Hanno, Nandi or Rudi.
