1. South Korea says key parts of THAAD missile defense¹ system have been installed .Demonstrators say they don't want it, despite tensions over North Korea's nuclear and ballistic missile programs. 

2. President Trump² insists the wall on the U.S-Mexico border will be built. Plans to fund will be dropped from the current congressional budget office. 

3. Rising rivers are threatening to cause more floods after several days of rain in North Carolina. Firefighters in Raleigh used rafts to rescue at least 6 people and a dog Tuesday. 

4. And the brush fire east of Phoenix³ shut down part of the scenic⁴ Bush highway. Strong wind gusts⁵ are bending the flames, closed to the Salt River in Mesa, Arizona.
