The House and Senate are expected to pass a border security bill Thursday and avoid a partial government shutdown. President Trump¹ is widely expected to sign the bill, but he's said he isn't happy with it.

Washington State is dealing⁴ with heavy snow, closed roads and power outages. One town that is stuck under several feet of snow declared a state of emergency.
