President Donald Trump¹ is lowering expectations ahead of this week's summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. The two are expected to discuss North Korea's denuclearization in Hanoi, Vietnam.

President Trump also announced that he's extending a deadline for hiking tariffs² on Chinese imports. Stock prices in Asia jumped after the announcement.

Venezuelans who are now in Brazil threw rocks across the border at Venezuelan National Guard Troops. The Venezuelan troops responded with buckshot and tear gas. Brazilian forces tried to keep the two sides apart.

Investigators³ near Houston say they've recovered two bodies from the cargo⁴ plane that crashed on Saturday. Three people were on the plane, which Atlas⁵ Air was operating for Amazon.
