 In the woods Sigurd was only a happy child without any thought of battles or heroes. 在森林里，西格德只是一个快乐的孩子，他没有想过战争和英雄。

The forest rang with the shouts of the children at their play, and often Regin heard the gay laugh of the young prince. 森林里回荡着孩子们玩耍的喧闹声，雷金经常听到年轻王子欢快的笑声。

But this king is not a hero, and you will stay at home with him, for you do not care to do great deeds!" 但国王不是英雄，你们留在家里与他同住是因为你们不愿意干一番大事。”

"You know that I care, Regin! Some day I shall ride away from here and win a great victory." “你知道我想干大事，雷金!”总有一天我会骑马离开这里，赢得伟大的胜利。”
