 Just at this moment the herd¹ came tearing down the trail. 就在这时，象群来了，撕扯着象鼻。

The angry cow, the mother of the injured baby, was in the lead. 愤怒的母象，受伤小象的母亲，在领头。

She was so grateful to see her child alive and so angry with him for his disobedience and for scaring her nearly to death that she promptly² began to spank³ him for dear life with her trunk. 看到她的孩子还活着，她是那么高兴，那么生气，因为他不听话，把她吓得几乎要死，所以她立刻用鼻子打他。

As for Kubwa, she had nothing but praise for his strength and help! 她对库巴的力量和帮助只有赞美！关于不顺服的话一句也没有说。
