Is this a time to be cloudy and sad, 这是一个阴沉悲伤的时刻，

When our Mother Nature laughs around, 当我们的自然母亲开怀大笑时，

When even the deep blue heavens look glad. 即使是深蓝的天空也会显得高兴。

And gladness breathes from the blossoming ground? 繁华似锦的大地上洋溢着欢乐？

There are notes of joy from the hangbird and wren¹, 有来自悬巢鸟和鹪鹩的欢乐叫声

And the gossip of swallows through all the sky; 燕子的私语弥漫于整个天空；

The ground squirrel gayly chirps² by his den³. 地松鼠在窝边欢快地叫着。

And the wilding bee hums merrily by. 野蜂快乐地嗡嗡叫。

The clouds are at play in the azure⁴ space, 云朵在蔚蓝的天空嬉戏，

And here they stretch to the frolic chase. 云朵伸长嬉戏追逐。

And there they roll on the easy gale⁵. 云朵在微风中翻滚。

There’s a dance of leaves in that aspen bower⁶; 在那白杨树的阴凉里，树叶在翩翩起舞；

There’s a titter of winds in that beechen tree; 在那山毛榉树上，风在窃窃偷笑；

There’s a smile on the fruit, and a smile on the flower. 水果在微笑，花朵也在微笑。

And a laugh from the brook⁷ that runs to the sea. 还有汇入大海的小溪的笑。

And look at the broad-faced sun, how he smiles 看那大脸太阳，他是如何笑的呢
