 　　The Medical Sciences Division is the largest academic division in the University of Oxford¹, and also an internationally renowned² centre for biomedical and clinical teaching and research.

　　The Division aims to be the best university biomedical institution in Europe and among the top five in the world.

　　The Division comprises over 2,200 academics and staff, 800 graduate students and 900 undergraduates, among which a number of over 2500 individuals are involved in research.
