[04:55.99]Jane:No,not at Caringbah.At Sutherland.

[05:05.69]we'll hike to where we're goingto be spending the first few days.

[05:17.99]Is it on the coast,or inland?
[05:22.09]Jane:It's on the coast,but it's very big,over 15,000 hectares

[06:29.90]Jane:No.We've got organized for the food to go down with a van,

[06:43.38]It's a camper with a fridge and cooking things,

[06:51.25]But you'll need to bring a sleeping bag.

[07:30.38]I think you need a few pairs of socks because if they get wet
[07:36.18]it's often difficult to dry them.

[07:47.98]Steve:And what about my bicycle?Should I bring that?
[07:52.87]Jane:Not really.Well,you could.
[07:57.26]There are places to cycle,
[08:00.55]but none of us are cycling this time.
[08:04.86]But you will need a warm sweater or jacket for the evenings.
[08:10.27]Steve:So that's a bit of a pity.
[08:13.77]I rather like cycling,but not really on my own.
[08:19.15]And do we have to book anything? Like the train,maybe?
[08:23.96]Jane:No,we don't need to book the train.
[08:27.85]And we've already booked beds in the youth hostel¹¹.

[09:52.43]This is Waterfall, where we get off the train.
[09:57.42]Then we'll walk to Garie beach and stay at the hostel there.

[10:08.39]Those are rocky bluffs¹²
[10:11.58]and there are lots of animals and birds in this area.
[10:16.18]You can spend hours just watching them.
[10:20.17]Now this area here, around Garie itself,
[10:25.37]has fabulous¹³ beaches for swimming and walking,and in some parts
[10:31.28]there are rock pools with fascinating sea creatures in them.
[10:36.79]Steve:So there are plenty of places to swim.

[10:45.46]Then to the north of Garie,
[10:48.65]along the coast there are some wonderful cliffs¹⁴ walk along,
[10:54.05]where you can get spectacular¹⁵ views.
[10:58.16]We plan to walk along here to this great picnic
[11:02.96]and barbecue place with a waterfall,called Wattamolla.
[11:08.94]Lots of people go there just for the day to have a picnic lunch.

[11:26.00]Jane:It's not a town,
[11:29.11]it's just a place where two rivers join where you can hire rowboats.
[11:35.30]We'll spend the last day here and then we'll all pile into the van
