Rescuers searched for wreckage¹ from an EgyptAir Paris-Cairo flight which crashed into the Mediterranean² Sea. The Airbus A320, carrying 66 passengers and crew, disappeared from the radar³ shortly after entering Egyptian airspace. Greece’s defense⁴ minister said the plane made abrupt⁵ turns and lost altitude. Plastic debris⁶ was seen south-east of Crete. Suspicions are mounting of a terrorist attack.
