 Two parliaments, one country, and this yet no deal. Scotland may have voted “no” to independence, but it did so on a promise.

 

“We said that we would bring forward to command people which would summarize the views of the three parties that want to X the United Kingdom -- the Liberal Democrats¹, the Labor² Party and the Conservatives. Among those keeping an eye on today’s debate will be the three who came to Scotland at the bitterly contested better end of the campaign. As suppose narrowed the vote to give Holyrood more powers, although they still can’t agree what those powers should be.

 

The Tories want Scotland to have complete control over income tax plus a share of VAT³. Labor says the Scottish Parliament should be given powers to raise 40% of its overall budget but defers⁵ control on value-added tax. The Lib-Dems says Holyrood should be allowed to raise the majority of the money it spends. 

 

Cross-party discussions are to be facilitated by Commission chaired by Lord Smith of Kelvin with a blueprint⁶ from a former agreed(?) by the end of November.

 

“The people of Scotland have spoken…”

 

Yet those discussions are no linked by the Prime Minister to resolving the issue of Scottish MPs voting issues not affecting Scotland. Some will be surprised that Scotland X has riveted⁷ an answer to more than one question.

 

“The vote was no more than a device to try and persuade a number of people went to the ‘no’ camp and these votes quickly made are looked like on the process of being X.”

 

X and X its parlimanet says the National Monuments of Scotland have originally been intended to commemorate⁸ those who fell in the Napoleonic Wars. 

 

“Almost 200 years on from the start of its construction, it remains⁹ unfinished thanks to the lack of funds, but also enthusiasm. Edinburg’s Folly¹⁰ as it has become known. Westminster’s politicians will be accused of far Waston Folly if their plans don’t come to X.”

 

Otherwise, the monuments to their efforts will be a reignited campaign for Scottish independence.
