Business Matters: West eyes more Russia sanctions¹ 15 April 14

The EU and the US say they will impose² "further costs" on Russia over its actions in Ukraine, as unrest continues in the east of the country. Officials in Chile say it could take more than 20 days to extinguish³ a deadly forest fire in the hills around the port city of Valparaiso. We get the latest from our reporter there. As Donna Tartt's "Goldfinch" wins the Pulitzer prize for literature, we ask whether this prestigious⁴ prize helps book sales.
