The most popular would have to be the Sasquatch AKA Big foot. At least that’s what we call him in North America.
The native Americans spoke3 of him and even added him onto their totem poles along side animals we KNOW are real like bears and eagles. And native american legend is full of mythical4 creatures so why would they choose ONLY big foot to add next to real creatures rather than others? Because to them, he was just as real.
Monks5 of the Himalayas actually claimed to have a finger of the yeti. It took a lot to coax6 the monks into allowing them to take a single finger so they could do tests on it. It was then smuggled7 out of the country to be taken back to America but it mysteriously disappeared. Almost as if someone didn’t want the information to be found out.
You know, some people say that the dàjiǎo guài and yeti is the missing link - the animal that shows the transition from ape to man. If that’s the case, the theory of evolution jìn huà lùn would cease to be a theory, it would be fact.
After l looking at the pictures of this guy, I’d say he has some form of microcephaly. I watched a very old movie about sideshow freaks and in the movie they present “pinhead”. The head shapes look very similar. The brain doesn’t develop properly which causes the person to have a child like mind capacity.
