Dialogue 1(对话1)

A：Hello! I have an appointment at 9：00 a．m．this morning.

 我预约了今早9时理发。

B：What’s your name，please?

    您贵姓?

A：Jim Smith．

   詹姆·史密斯。

B：Oh yes．Why don’t you have a seat here? How do you want your hair cut?

   呃对。请这边坐。您想怎么剪?

A：Just trim a little off the back，cut my sideburns even，part my hair on the left，  and trim a little of my moustache too.

   只修后面一些，剪齐两鬓。向左边分发，稍稍修修胡须。

B：How much should I trim it on the back?

   背后要剪多少?

A：About 1 inch．And I need a shampoo．

   大约1吋。我还要洗头。

   (The barber finishes and shows him a mirror．)

   (理发师修剪后，拿了面镜子给他。)

B：Look，how do you like it?

   看看，你觉得怎样?

A：Not bad! But please put on some tonic，will you?

  不错!不过上些发油好吗?

B：OK．It won’t be long.

   好的。一会儿就好。

Dialogue 2

A：I’d like a shampoo and set，please．

   把头发洗洗，再吹一吹。

B：Would you like a new hair style，or just keep it the way you have it now?

 你想做个新发式，还是保持现在的发式?

A：Can you show me some new hair styles?

   我能看看这儿的新发式吗?

B：Sure．How about these ones?

   当然。你看这些式样好吗?

A：This is good．I want to have my hair cut short．

 这很好。我要把头发剪短。

B：OK，madam．(half an hour later) How do you like it，now?

   好的，夫人。(半小时后)你喜欢吗?

A：Oh，that’s elegant．I wouldn’t know myself.

   哦，太美了。我都不认得自己了。

B：I’m glad you like it．Do you want a facial?

   你喜欢就好了。要美容吗?

A：No，thanks．Thank you for your beautiful hair-do．

   不，谢谢。谢谢你为我做了这么好看的发型。

Dialogue 3

A：What kind of permanent would you like to have?

   你想要哪种烫发?

B：What kinds do you have?

   你们有那些烫发?

A：Oh，we have quite a variety：regular，cold perm，straight perm，pin curl and foam．

   呃，我们有许多种，普通的、冷烫、直烫、卷发烫和泡沫烫。

B：I tried a pin curl perm last time and it was too curly．But do you have pictures of the latest hairstyles?

   上次我烫卷发，可太卷了。有没有最新的发型图片?

A：Yes．Here you are. If you don’t like curly hair I suggest you try a straight perm．

   有，这些就是。如果你不喜欢卷发，我建议你试试直烫。

B：Does it look good? 

   好看吗?

A：Sure．That will give you a fresher look and it might be good for your hair’s quality．

B：That sounds interesting．All right，straight perm then．
