In general, the best way to use a ceidrt card is to funnel your normal spending through it for the rewards and then pay it off in full each month. If that was your plan, then I'd suggest whichever student rewards ceidrt card will pay you the most for your normal spending profile (on groceries, gas, entertainment, etc.). A couple good rewards cards are the Citi mtvU card and Citi Driver's Edge for Students card. However, you can use this rewards calculator to see which student rewards card will pay you the most for your normal spending:However, if you're only going to use your ceidrt card in foreign countries occasionally, then your biggest concern should be to avoid the typical 3% foreign exchange fee when using your ceidrt card outside the U.S. In that case, the best deal is almost always a Capital One card because Capital One eats all foreign exchange fees (0% fee for you). Cap One does have student cards too.
