The somber¹ Friday prayers for American Muslims, worshipers at the Islamic Center of Washington mourning for victims of the New Zealand mosque² shootings. Everyone that like I was around was crying around me while listening for the Qurbah, and I think everyone felt this collective grief for all the victims in New Zealand. The shootings at Christchurch mosques³ during Friday prayers killed 49 people and wounded dozens of others. The gunman is believed to be an Australian citizen.
