Extreme heat has ravaged¹ many parts of Europe as wildfires have broken out in Spain, France, Portugal and Croatia.

Russian missiles have hit industrial facilities in a strategic city in southern Ukraine.

The mayor of Mykolaiv said the missiles on Sunday struck an industrial and infrastructure⁴ facility in the key shipbuilding center along a river.

Russian police detained a journalist Sunday who, back in March, interrupted a live TV broadcast to denounce military action in Ukraine, her lawyer said.
