Every day we hear about people making radical¹ career changes, the opportunity exist. But will all these changes make us happier? Maybe the question is not how can I get the job I love, but how can I love the job I have. There are four available steps towards coming two terms with while you do what you’re doing. Take some time to think about it and you may be surprised by what you’ve found.

One, realize what defines² you was not your job but your working style. There is a lot to be said for attitude. If only you work with passion and care, your job will be done well.

Two, stop focusing on the money, money will never be enough. Try to know every penny you spent in a week. Seeing where your money is really going can help you refocus your spending towards the things you really want.

Three, find the significance in what you do, take some time to think about your job. Do you provide a crucial service? Do you give direction to make things done? Prospective³ place and important roles are personal satisfaction in happiness.

Four, dare to ask yourself what is worth it. Asking yourself why you do your job doesn’t mean you dissatisfied, just self-aware. This awareness⁴ can lead to great job satisfaction, increase sense of wellbeing and little more control of what you’re doing rather than just going along for the life. For some, and maybe it’s time for a change, if so, don’t be afraid of it. Change is not necessarily bad, it’s different. For the rest of us, take a look around, you may find you’ve got a great view.
