1. Turkey's premier¹ confirmed that authorities have caught the gunman suspected of killing² 39 people in the New year's attack at a nightclub. The suspect was taken into custody³ late Monday at a luxury residential⁴ complex in Istanbul.

2. The wife of the Orlando nightclub gunman was arrested in the San Francisco Bay area. Noor Salman is due in federal court on Tuesday. She is facing charges, including obstruction⁵ of justice.

3. Icy is causing more troubles in the Midwest. Rain and freezing wind were expected to make roads slipping in Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

4. The last astronaut to walk on the moon has died. Eugene Cernan was 82. He landed on the moon in 1972 as the commander of Apollo 17.
