1. President Obama commuted1 the 25 years prison sentence of Chelsea Manning, freeing her in May. Manning acknowledged leaking diplomatic cables and national security documents to Wikileaks for publication in 2010. Wikileaks' editor Julian Assange said on Twitter last week he will surrender to U.S authorities if Manning got clemency2.
