Put your best foot forward and hope for the best.

You could just try to talk to everyone and maybe join a sports club or something.

Join a lot of, like, school clubs and stuff². Like, I joined cheer, and that got me a lot of friends.

Be a friendly, warm person, not a cold, you know, standoffish person.

Find yourself a couple of friends and hang out and have fun and not care what anybody thinks of you. And then people will respect³ you more. They'll respect you for believing in yourself. So you'll be more popular.

Go up to people and be really friendly. Be really outgoing. But if people don't accept you then they can go...(bleep) off.

Be yourself and just try to make others happy.

Be yourself and get those good grades. They're gonna know that you've got some brains⁵.

The most important thing's that just be yourself. People will notice you, and people will respect you the way you are.

In the long run, no one cares if you were popular in high school, you know what I mean? It's about your happiness⁶ and your emotional⁷ health.

Best piece of advice on this one: just be yourself. And then the people who see your value⁸ you will be popular with. And the people who don't see that value--you don't need to be popular with the people who don't value who you are.
