Passengers on a China United Airlines flight from Chengdu to Beijing on Sunday lodged² a protest, after discovering other passengers smoking on the plane.

Crew members on the plane were criticized for turning a blind eye to passengers smoking in the lavatory³ and outside the cabin door.

China United Airlines has agreed to apologize and compensate⁴.

Topic 3: Unqualified foreign teachers in ChinaOn Aug 29, the head of two foreign language training agencies in the city of Harbin were been questioned by police for allegedly allowing foreign teachers without proper qualification on their payroll⁵. This revealed a current situation that some foreign teachers in China have no qualification to teach in school.

Is there a problem with foreign teachers not having proper qualification/documentation?

They even went so far as to release an official document criticizing a canteen for not having enough meat for lunch.
