　　The high cost seems to be a fly in the ointment¹.

　　美中不足的是成本过高。

　　a fly in the ointment 字面意思是：“软骨里的苍蝇”，这个习语出自《圣经·传道书》，“死苍蝇会让香甜的软骨变质，同样，一件小小的蠢事也会令智慧失色。”现在，人们用这个习语来表示：“美中不足之处，煞风景的事情，令人扫兴的小事”。因此，当美国人说"The high cost seems to be a fly in the ointment."时，他/她要表达的意思就是:"I'm only unsatisfied with the high cost."、"It's perfect except the cost."。
