　　You should have a mind of your own.

　　你要有主见啊。

　　have a mind of one's own 这句习语就是：“有自己的意见、想法”的意思，也就是汉语里面说的：“自在主张，性格果断”。因此，当美国人说"You should have a mind of your own."时，他/她要表达的意思就是:"You should have your own opinions."、"You should make your own decisions."、"You should not get governed by the views or choices of others."。

　　情景对白：

　　Shirley: Both of the two plans are feasible. It's hard for me to choose. Can you decide it for me?

　　雪莉：两种计划方案都可行，真的很难选择。你能帮我决定吗？
