　　He is an effective leader with a common touch.

　　common touch 直译过来就是：“一个很普通的，轻易能接触到的人”，这个短语的正确意思是：“平易近人”。因此，当美国人说"He is an effective leader with a common touch."时，他/她要表达的意思就是:"He is a good leader who is quite approachable."、"He is an excellent leader and easy to get along with."。
