　　Don't knock it 字面意思是：“不要敲它”，你可不要被它的表面意思给迷惑了哦。knock在此处表示：“找茬，挑剔，非难，抨击”，所以这个习语的真正含义是：“不要太挑剔”。因此，当美国人说"Don't knock it!"时，他/她要表达的意思就是:"Don't be so fussy¹!"、"Don't be too particular about others!"、"Don't be so finicky!"。
