调查显示 近半数学生遭受过校园欺凌

 　　Younger students experience school bullying¹ more frequently than older ones, and male students are bullied² more than their female peers, a survey found.

　　The 21st Century Education Research Institute, a think tank in Beijing, surveyed 1,003 students from 12 schools in the city, and found that nearly half of students have been intentionally³ bumped or knocked down by classmates.

　　About 6% said they are targeted by bullies⁴ on campus almost every day.

　　Students at ordinary schools experience more bullying than peers at top institutions, and children from impoverished⁵ families are more likely to be bullied at school, according to the survey.

　　Being bullied can have an adverse⁶ impact on a child's personal development and academic performance, according to Zhou Jinyan, a researcher at Beijing Normal University's Capital Institute for Economics of Education.

　　根据北京师范大学首都教育经济研究院的研究人员周金燕表示，遭遇欺凌会对孩子的个人发展及学业表现有负面的影响。

　　"Children being bullied will find it hard to trust others," Zhou said. "They may lack self-confidence and often feel anxiety, anger, resentment⁷ or depression. These emotions will further undermine their ability to control their own life."

　　周金燕称：“被欺凌的孩子会发现他们很难信任别人。他们可能会缺乏自信，经常感到焦虑、愤怒、怨恨或抑郁。这些情绪将进一步削弱他们支配自己生命的能力。”

1 bullying
