And Pope Francishas strengthened the Vatican's law against child abuse. The changes will broad the definition of crimes against minors⁶, including child prostitution, sexual acts with children and child pornography. The reforms apply to those working in the Vatican, evenif the offenses⁷ were committed outside its borders. They'll come to force in September.
