Bali Nine member, Renae Lawrence, is set to be released from Indonesian prison this morning after serving a 13 year sentence. The 41-year old was arrested in 2005 at Denpasar Airport with two-point-seven kilograms of heroin¹ tied to her body. Ms Lawrence officially ended her sentence at midnight last night but she may have to wait until midday before she's formally released.

A political debate is raging following the arrest of three men over an alleged² terror plot. A 21-year-old, 26-year-old and 30-year old faced court yesterday accused of planning an attack. But Shadow Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus has accused the minister of twisting the facts for political gain.

Police are investigating the second suspicious death of a baby girl in Queensland this week. The four-month-old was taken to the Logan Hospital yesterday morning with serious injuries and later died. A 35-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man are being questioned. In the meantime investigations⁴ are continuing into the death of a nine-month-old girl, found on a Gold Coast Beach on Sunday night.
