F: I was the developer of the ideas, the charaters and the game strategy.
M:Did you write the source code?
F: No, I hired freelancers² to develop the software.

Contract(和约)＝ agreement, verbal（口头）=oral,written agreement(书面协议)
Ｍ：Do you have a written contract with the freelancer?
F：No , our agreements are verbal.
M:No written agreement?
F：just an oral one. Am I in trouble?
Ｍ：Not necessarily, verbal agreements can be binding³.
F：but a written agreement is better.
M: written agreements spell out(specify) the obligations for both sides.
F：My verbal agreement can be easily misinterpreted.

M: I would recommend that you get formal written agreements with your freelancers.
F: You mean now after the fact?
M: these would be retroactive agreements.

F: and these will replace our verbal agreement?
