China has made representations¹ to Myanmar after three bombs dropped into Chinese territory in the border areas during recent armed conflicts in northern Myanmar.

近日，缅甸北部地区爆发武装冲突，三发炮弹落入中国领土境内，中方已就此向缅甸提出交涉。

A Foreign Ministry² spokeswoman told a news briefing in Beijing that the Chinese side demands the Myanmar side immediately take effective measures to prevent similar incidents from happening again.

外交部发言人在北京举行的新闻发布会上表示，中方要求缅方立即采取有效措施，避免类似事件再次发生。

She confirmed that three bombs dropped inside China on the evening of Dec. 30, 2012 during the armed conflicts between the Myanmar military and the Kachin Independence Army.

据这名发言人介绍，2012年12月30日晚，缅甸政府军和克钦独立军发生武装冲突，三发炮弹落入中国境内。

That caused no casualties³ in China.

The friend of the 23-year-old medical student who died last week after being gang raped⁴ in mid⁵ December in the Indian capital came out for the first time on TV , and recounted the hell they went through.
