It's freezing in the studio² this morning!

今天早上的摄影棚冷死了！

Everyone is uncomfortable right now.

大家现在都很不舒服，

But the building will warm up soon.

不过不用多久屋子里就会暖和起来。

Megan is helping³ the TV station lower⁴ its heating⁵ bill.

梅根在帮电视台节省暖气的开销，

She turns the heater off at night.

她晚上的时候把暖气机关掉，

Then she turns it on in the morning.

早上再把暖气机打开。

That will heat only one room, and not my whole apartment.

1 heater

3 helping   

n.食物的一份&adj.帮助人的，辅助的

参考例句：

• By doing this, they may at times be helping to restore competition. 这样一来, 他在某些时候,有助于竞争的加强。

4 lower   

adj.较低的；地位较低的，低等的；低年级的；下游的；vt.放下，降下，放低；减低

• Society is divided into upper,middle and lower classes.社会分为上层、中层和下层阶级。
• This price is his minimum;he refuses to lower it any further.这个价格是他开的最低价，他拒绝再作任何降价。

5 heating   

n.加热，供暖，暖气装置；adj.加热的，供暖的

参考例句：

• They will install a heating and lighting system in our house.他们将在我们家装上供热供电系统。
• If the pressure is too low,the heating system will act up.如果压力太低，供暖系统就会出毛病。
