《荒野求生》之跟着贝尔去冒险第112期:最强的一次地震

 I'm in Alaska. I've made it off a glacier¹ and battled down raging rivers. 我地处阿拉斯加州  我成功地逃离冰川 战胜了汹涌的河流

Now I'm following the undulating coast. 现在我沿着起伏的海岸前行

And the going here is hard,with plenty of tricky² climbs and descents on difficult terrain³ back down to sea level. 这条路线非常难走 此处背靠海平面  地形复杂 有许多处考验技巧的起伏地貌

Loads of rusty⁴, rusty buildings down there.Through the trees, see it? 那边有很多荒废的建筑 透过树林  看到了吗

Get down there, come on.Like an old factory of some sort. 我们下去 似乎是个废弃工厂

Probably the storage tank for something, maybe fuel. 估计是储存了什么  可能是燃料

Whatever it was, a big operation here.See what else I can find.Man, look, masses of these old nets. 不管是什么  这规模挺大的 看看还能找到些什么 瞧瞧  一堆废旧的网

And these probably had something to do with fish,maybe an old canning station. 也许是捕鱼用的 这里可能是个罐装厂

But what a wild, remote place to work! Fish canneries like this were often located in remote areas near large fishing grounds. 但这工作的地方 也太荒凉偏僻了 像这样的鱼肉罐头工厂 通常位于靠近大捕鱼场的偏僻之地

Here the catch was gutted⁵, cooked, and tinned before being shipped for sale. 在这儿处理鱼的内脏  烹制然后装罐 最后装运出售

But not anymore.Just been completely trashed. Look at it. 今非昔比啊 这儿已经成了一片废墟  看看吧

You know, the harsh winters here up to 40 foot of snow is gonna cause a lot of damage. 这儿的冬天可是冻死人 积雪足足有40英尺厚 破坏力十分之大

But also in the '60s, they had one of the biggest earthquakes of all times off the coast of Alaska. 在六十年代  阿拉斯加沿海发生过一次 有史以来最强的一次地震

'Caused a massive tsunami⁶, ripped through all of these sands and inlets,destroyed masses of local communities, 大海啸在这些沙滩和水湾中横冲直撞 破坏了大片当地社区

and more than likely would have caused a lot of the damage here. 明显这儿也遭受了很大的破坏
