1. Dallas police chief David Brown told reporters Monday morning that he and his family are receiving dead threats, following the deadly shooting of 5 police officers. Brown also said 11 officers fired their guns on Thursday while 2 additional officers used explosives in the attempt to stop the incident.
2. Defense1 secretary Ash Carter says the U.S will send 560 more troops to Iraq. Carter says the troops will help establish the newly retaken air base. He made the announcement today during his visit to Iraq.
3. British prime minister David Cameron said he will step down in 2 days in favor of Theresa May, s senior member of his cabinet. May will become Britain's second female leader.
4. And Argentina's 10th national twins festival took place on Sunday in a small western town, set out to celebrate their "unique and shared identity". Over 800 pairs of twin took part in the festival.
